Strengths
My professional qualities:
I have good leadership skills that I have learned from my past experiences which is another of my professional qualities the ability to adapt and learn quickly which is one of my biggest strengths as it allows me to try my hand at many different skills to broaden my range
What I do well
I am really good at getting hands on with work, I don’t like to sit back and let other people do work for me if we are working in a team and when I get started on a task I am really good at knuckling down and focusing on it until I get it done this makes me pretty good at working under pressure
Level of education
Level 3 Games Development Year 2
My biggest achievements
My biggest achievements have been finishing my Level 3 Electrical Engineering course at a distinction level and then following on from that completing an apprenticeship
My personal qualities
One of my personal qualities is my ability to learn and pick things up quickly for example when I joined this course I didn’t know anything about programming or 3D modeling but felt like I picked up theses skills very quickly and I think I’ve always had the skill to adapt and learn quickly but I improved this skill during my apprenticeship where learning quickly whilst on the job was a must
Weaknesses
What am I bad at
I would say that I am bad at motivating myself to do work when I get started I am fine but finding the motivation to get up and get started on something is a thing I have always struggled with, it’s why I’m good at working under pressure because that gives me the motivation I need to get what I need to do done
What can I improve
I could improve my work ethic by better managing my time and how I breakdown my work so that I would find it easier to motivate myself to do work
what are my personal flaws
My biggest personal flaws one being that I already mentioned above is my inability to motivate myself properly to get work done unless I am under some form of pressure to do so other than that I wouldn’t consider myself to have any other major personal flaws
Task I avoid
I don’t necessarily avoid it but I definitely out it off and don’t put as much effort into pre planning a project and I’m aware of the importance and the bearing it has on my work and that in the past it has caused me issues but it’s something that when I come to do it I lose a lot of my drive for it
Evaluation
I learnt a great deal about myself during this activity and what I mainly learnt is that I have the ability and the skill set to create some impressive work with my ability to learn things very quickly and how I love to get hands on with a project but what tends to hold me back is my sometimes lack of motivation to get started on a project and this has negatively impacted my time management skills in a project causing me to run out of time and having to rush certain parts of my work causing it’s standard to drop in comparison to other parts of my work so what I think I’ll do is find a way to better motivate myself to get to work on projects as soon as I get them by setting myself personal deadlines that I have to meet

Evaluation
Evaluate your skills, strengths and weaknesses. What are you good at? List the skills you graded as 1 or 2 and explain how you plan to develop them?
I feel as though I am very competent with a lot of the skills listed as they are things that I have either been using for a very long time such as all the microsoft programs or they’re things that I have been able to pick up very quickly like programming as it has a grounded nature in logic and logical subjects are always something I have excelled at as opposed to creative subjects that is why I have ranked my drawing ability at a two as I feel as though it is one of my weakest areas and even though I think I am adept at creating 2D pixel art assets my core drawing ability is definitely lacking
